Mine passed again but only doing 500 dry miles a year I knew would cause few problems.
Three kids and a 2 seater car without a doubt keeps the miles toooo low.

Paul, how difficult is it going to be to get this road legal ??

Do a google for Lancaster Insurance based in St Ives .I pay £122 fully comp allowing 3.5k miles, payable over 12 months, on a classic policy.
For an extra £15 an agreed valuation is allowed (mine is £2.500)

Bidding is up to over £2300 at the moment .I don't think I would bid that high on a Mk1 I had not seen.

I am looking for a stainless mk1 exhaust at the moment .What sound does the mongoose give as I dont want nothing too quiet ?

I have an 89 mk1 and am looking to replace the original stereo .
I am just wondering before i order the unit will the unit fit into the dash okay or do i need to order any brackets,etc ?
Also will the wiring adaptor lead do the job without cutting the wiring.

Just wondering what a realistic price is to replace the clutch on my 1989 mk1.
Also how long would the clutch last given that is only slipping slightly and am i better off ensuring Toyota parts are used.

I sold mine last December as it was past repair .Six months later i purchased another .
I am sure you will be back given the running costs and classic insurance now available making them fairly cheap to run as a second car.

I have mine insured with Lancaster Insurance fully comp on a classic policy for £120 .This gives me 4000 miles a year and has my wife also on the policy.Might be worth a try .
