My Red mk1b has passed every MOT first time since I bought it in 1994

It has missed a couple of years when off the road but it always 'passes' athough in recent years it has needed a tweak on the mixture screw to optimise the readings. Dunno if this counts as a 'fail' but the MOT tester optimises the setting every year.

It's only had the rear exhaust replaced once and that was in 1994. It doesn't see wet roads very often....

Mine passed again but only doing 500 dry miles a year I knew would cause few problems.
Three kids and a 2 seater car without a doubt keeps the miles toooo low.
