Re: [Mk2] [Turbo] Any experience of D2 Coilovers?
Helped my mate fit a set to his EVO they look really nice, the cars been getting rebuilt in his workshop over the past year, so in dry storage ... but i've started to spot rust on the camber bolts despite them having never seen water, must just not like any moisture in the air at all.

Re: [Mk2] [Turbo] I want to stop smoking... XS Power turbo problems?
i have one of those XS ones too, it came off my mates GT4 which had made around 450hp with that turbo on it he then changed to a GT35, he said the GT35 spooled nicer. As everyone else has pointed out mate ... you got it in one, on the overrun its the oil seals on the turbo that usually weep :( 22K m...

[Mk2] [Turbo] Cylinder Head Replacement? How Hard

I've not changed the head on one of these before so i'm just looking for some best practices advice!? I'll probably not do the timing or if i do i'll get it checked by someone w...

Re: [Mk2] [Turbo] Brake conversion (your toughts on my idea please)
Chaps, I have Celica GT4 WRC callipers on the front of my car with Lexus 313mm discs and have done quite a few track days with them, they never ever fade (apart from the last day where I ran out of pad and caught fire!) but the balance is all over the place, worse than that is the pedal movement ha...

i had it on my tubby (still have the bits from it lol)
i thought it was a clever system, would help kill off oversteer but didnt interfere too much for driving. plus you could switch it off

Re: Electric Supercharger
yeah stick that in your inlet track somewhere, watch it over spin as the engine sucks loads of air through it ... the bearing will quickly collapse and the remains of the thing will be sucked into cylinders 1 - 2 - 3 - 4 and nuke your engine.

Re: [Mk2] [Turbo] am i missing something here?? blitz access on ebay
probably just like a "chipped" upgrade because nobody seems to be able to do owt with them! probably just advances the timing a little and runs a little bit lean over stock, gives some gains, increases chance of knock. I seen the buy it now price, but you can bet it ain't gonna sell for th...

Re: [Mk2] [Turbo] tsukuba battle - rev1 vs rev2 tubbys (+ others)
i've got a video of a rev2 GTS and rev3 GTS on quarter mile in jap land, the rev2 came out at about 13.7 and the rev3 did it in 13.3 Doesn't make any sense why the rev2 won on the 1/4 mile lol, but the other video was great seeing the rev2 really do well on the track, made me smile seeing MR2 up fro...

Re: Some new additions
it doesn't feel too big, but it is lairy on a backroad, the MR2 would outhandle it no issues right now.
its 5X114.3 same as the MR2 MK2, but the 4 pots cause lots of issues with wheel clearance
Seen wheels i like just need the money now

no mate i didn't buy another MR2, i was toying with selling mine, ok i didn't think it would end like this but buying another wasn't going to be the answer. I bought this to replace my beloved little MR2 http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v512/AstraSpeed/200SX/sx1.jpg http://img.photobucket.com/album...

Hi mate, just spotted this thread. The recaro's look GREAT in your car Bet you really are shocked at the condition of them? admit it! would you believe they had ever been sat on? I was astounded, the only reason i moved them on (before even fitting them no less lol) was because i'd found a set of re...
