Though i'd post a few pic's seen its the first dry day in awhile.
Excuse the poor condition of paintwork, it too cold for a full polish.
My Recaro's (bought from Kenny-Boost and they are mint condition)
Took some time to get the subframes right, but a nice addition i think, plus cheaper than a set of leathers:D
a lot more comfortable on long journeys and good lower back support.
My new Alloys
Their 45 offset, so i think i'll need 10mm spacers, will have to wait till new year.
Some new additions

Of course, how dare you doubt me!
I wish, their rota grids, but i got a te37 from a mates skyline, brought it down to the sign makers and got them to make up a few sets of stickers. so only £210 compared to £1000's

Yeah i know, the only reason i put it on is, the car came with the Toms airbox already and i figured i'd put it on and see how it looked.
Will be taking it off in new year.

Hi mate, just spotted this thread.
The recaro's look GREAT in your car
Bet you really are shocked at the condition of them? admit it! would you believe they had ever been sat on?
I was astounded, the only reason i moved them on (before even fitting them no less lol) was because i'd found a set of rev5 recaro's, i loved those rev5 seats so much, they were so supportive! 3sgte has them now, i miss them badly

Re: Some new additions
Cheers Kenny,
Yeah they're absolutely mint, i knew when i bought they they were in good condition, but wasn't expecting them to be in A1 condition!!
Best money i ever spent on my car, even the GF moans less on long journeys
I took off the metal bars that held the driver seat to the runners and made some new ones out of a stronger metal. The old ones were probably fine, but there was a little bit of flex in them, so the new one are more solid.
I'd heard about your accident, what a shame, and hadn't seen any of your posts in awhile, otherwise i would have pm'd you some pic's.
Did you get another 2?

Re: Some new additions
no mate i didn't buy another MR2, i was toying with selling mine, ok i didn't think it would end like this but buying another wasn't going to be the answer.
I bought this to replace my beloved little MR2
it handles crap because of stock wheels and suspension, but i've been very slowly trying to get a inventory of suspension parts and set of wheels together to help the thing put the power down!
When you get it in a high enough gear that its not just lighting up the wheels under acceleration (3/4/5 if its a warm dry day) it can fairly shift!
i did fancy another MR2 was going to get a rev3 with forged engine and strip it out and make it a weapon but couldn't be bothered insuring 2 cars as i'd have needed a daily driver too. The drift slag is comfy and quiet when cruising about, and goes like a rocket when you open it up

Re: Some new additions
Very nice, Black with CF a good look. Had a drive in one a few years ago, lovely GT feel and plenty of power. Should be no problem getting aftermarket parts, but Alloys probably a bit harder to get for it, there 4x114 isn't it?
after driving the 2, it must feel like a bit of a whale
Great car

Re: Some new additions
it doesn't feel too big, but it is lairy on a backroad, the MR2 would outhandle it no issues right now.
its 5X114.3 same as the MR2 MK2, but the 4 pots cause lots of issues with wheel clearance
Seen wheels i like just need the money now
