Alloy Wheel Refurbish in South London.
Hey

Could someone recommend a refurbisher for my 16" Blitz two piece wheels, there are quite a few out there but would like to do it local.

Thanks in advance.

Re: [Mk2] [NA] Eibach springs
Hello Matey,

I've got a set on my tubby, had Teins previously, which were way too hard, Eibachs are not too hard and not too soft IMO.
Fitted with Yellow Bilstein shocks.
Good combo.

How much are they brand new then, I've totally forgotten?

Thanks, its the insert that goes into the filler neck that reduces the hole diameter.

Not sure which part it is either.

hope

Petrol filler neck missing??
I went to fill up the car and as i put the nozzle in the filler neck and it felt all loose and had a look and the nozzle restrictor is now missing?

I cant understand where it could have gone?

Has anyone experienced this? Can i get a replacement.

[Mk2] [Generic] Lacquering rear light clusters. Easy job?
Looking at my rear lights
, they look so dull.
I've polished them with T-cut but they don't last long.

Is it hard to lacquer?

Any tips?

Thanks

Re: A word of warning - Mk2 sill rust on its way for many....
I would much rather replace sills, but TBH can't afford to at the moment.
A
£30 patch will have to do, I'll do a proper job in the future.

But the car might be a pile of oxide by then.

Re: A word of warning - Mk2 sill rust on its way for many....
Hey, Just had my MOT, and it failed with two 50p sized rust holes in the drivers sill. doesn't look too bad, but will get it "patched up". I polished the car yesterday and noticed some bubbling around the windscreen, mostly around the top. I replaced a drivers door a couple of summers ago ...

Great minds Tarmac, I've got the same Controller in the clockspace too.
Quite discrete there.

The MK 4/5 Fiesta Zetec lump was a Yamaha/Ford Design.

[Mk2] [Turbo] Power Steering Fluid Change. How hard a job?
Hey guys,

As the title really, i don't think the fluid has been changed at all, Ive had the car for 5 years and i think it would be good to change.

Has anyone done a DIY fluid change or is it a garage job?

Thanks

Nick

[quote="HighwayStar"]Nick.. get another pair of spats for a tenner here and make up a set made from them and your own... if your handy with plastic welding, filler and paint it should be a doddle (my bodyshop said they took about 3 hrs...). Look a bit like the PP from the side, nicely deep...

Why did you guys have to point out that the rear looks skinny/thin now thats all i can see when i look at my car!

Might have to put spoiler back on, or get new rear bumper.
.

cheers
