[Mk2] [Turbo] Power Steering Fluid Change. How hard a job?

Post by Rev5_GTS_Nick »

Hey guys,

As the title really, i don't think the fluid has been changed at all, Ive had the car for 5 years and i think it would be good to change.

Has anyone done a DIY fluid change or is it a garage job?

Thanks

Nick

if its like any other car than crack a pipe off, drain it all out, fix the pipe back on fill up the reservior and turn it from lock to lock a few times and keep topping up the fluid.

if thats wrong then someone will be along to put you right

'orrible job on a mk2, especially without a lift. You will get PS fluid all over you, guaranteed.

Personally I'd pay a garage who has a fluid sucker - they'll be able to pull it out through the res and job's a good 'un.
