I wouldn't run a part synthetic oil in a Tubby to be honest. Go for Fully synthetic next time and yes you should definately change the filter at the same time whenever the oil is changed. Just had my main radiator and the one for the chargecooler replaced. Garage that did it found a pair of pliers sandwiched between them God knows how long they have been in there.

Guessing thats probably why I got a leak in my rather expensive ARC radiator
