[Mk2] [NA] UK Rev 3 NA Wiring Diagrams

I've got the ones for the Rev 1 Turbo, but despite several searches have been unable to find the ones for the the UK Rev 3 NA!

Could anyone PM these or point me in the right direction?

Thanks

Re: Battery dead what do I do now :( Advice needed

I'm not 100% sure, but I understand the chemical processes in a battery cause it to charge itself over time (up to a point) or perhaps more accurately move from a state of being totally discharged to a more balanced 'half charged' stage where it will stop charging itelf. Don't take this as fact thou...

Re: Rev 1 to Rev 3 NA Conversion

Thanks for the hint. As far as I can see with E6 (the 22pin Rev 1 connector which is plugged into the Rev 3 ECU) the following is my understanding: Pins 1-11 are okay Pin 12 Circut opening relay is also okay Loom Pin 13 (B1) now needs to be linked to ECU Pin 12 (B) (this could be unnecessary as ther...

Re: Rev 1 to Rev 3 NA Conversion

This wire is called the "ENGINE WIRE AND ENGINE ROOM MAIN WIRE", it is referred to as the EA1 in the electrical diagrams. So, on the Rev 1 connector there are 5 wires: Blu/Wl Blu Blu/Or Red/Gr Blk/Wh These match up with five on the Rev 3 side. So going through the diagrams their purposes a...

Rev 1 to Rev 3 NA Conversion

After pulling out the Rev 1 engine and lifting into the Rev 3 I was very pleased indeed to discover that almost everything fits and lines up, including the connectors in the engine bay fuse box. Having got the Rev 3 ECU with the engine I fitted it and inserted all the connectors, but there is one wh...

Re: [Mk2] [NA] cambelt replacement

I'm in the middle of this at the moment.

Undid the pulley with an air gun in 2 seconds, and took the pulley off with an air chisel in 10 seconds.
Fantastic!

I did wip the bolt out a month ago and spray WD40 in there to loosen things up a bit....

Hmmmm, don't know what those connectors are for, but you could start by checking to see is power getting to the little switch that the door closes against. Just near the door latch.

Use an air wrench to take the nut off. Then use an air hammer to take the pulley off. Job done in 1 minute flat.

I did mine for £59 (Blueprint) including a new release bearing!

Probably would do it again, but the first time is the most difficult I guess.

[Mk2] [NA] Refitting Driveshaft

I'm just trying to refit a driveshaft but it doesn't seem to want to go in.

I'm hitting it with a hammer on the inner part, and was wondering is it okay to hit it at the hub end or will it damage something?

Any tips for doing this? Is replacement of the spring clip a good idea? Some grease?
