motor doesnt need to come out, but its a lengthy job.

The crank pulley can be a b1tch to undo and even worse to pull off. Thats the only thing that could potentially give you a problem.

I'm in the middle of this at the moment.

Undid the pulley with an air gun in 2 seconds, and took the pulley off with an air chisel in 10 seconds.
Fantastic!

I did wip the bolt out a month ago and spray WD40 in there to loosen things up a bit....

Dude Antno I wouldn't take a chisel to the bottom pulley unless you really know what your doing.

There very fragile use a puller or a bar and lightly tap the pulley with a hammer from behind you may chip it.

to crack the bottom pulley off windy gun is ideal 1/2"drive if not your going to have to use power bar in gear with the brakes on

or a trick I used to use but I am a experienced technician and don't like to do this put a power bar on the bottom pulley hold it very tight (have to be a strong person) and crank the engine on the key once.

remember to make your own marks on cam and crank as well for your own reference.

Id also replace the water pump why youve got it all stripped down. Much easier to do it now why you have access.
