ive got the templates for those, the ones he posted anyway (i dont think it was a complete set...) i printed them off, cut them out of steel and then fabricted my sills from scratch. its really quite easy once you get started, i can post some pics of how we did it, but might not have many on the act...

i think the pipe modification is from when the hard water pipes that go round the fuel tank corrode and leak. you can either drop the tank or reroute new pipes (not oem) around the tank without dropping it (loads easier - search 'pipes from hell'). there should be something there to bleed the heater...

yep, newer one (rev2+) is thicker. i think rev1 is 25mm thick and the later ones 30mm. the diameter is greater on the later ones too.
