anyway some questions (bare in mind its a converted car)

clip found in frunk, where does it go?

shifter? look oem?

loose sensor in engine bay, seems like it would fit in the coolent elbow, being a short wire and spade type connector in that area, but couldnt see where it would/could go? ideas? forgot to take pic!

i think the pipe modification is from when the hard water pipes that go round the fuel tank corrode and leak. you can either drop the tank or reroute new pipes (not oem) around the tank without dropping it (loads easier - search 'pipes from hell'). there should be something there to bleed the heater matrix though?

shifter - short shift kit?

clip - chuck it.

I had a look last night and seems the lower of the pipes from hell has been bypassed and runs along the top of the fuel tank.
Not sure how far along as I didn't remove the front under trays.

The loose cable I found appears to connect to the ground wire coming off the passenger turret half way down. The connectors mate up at least, so I believe it to be a ground wire.

The clip hold the accelerator cable to a water pipe in the frunk!

I am 99% sure that is an OEM shifter, I am prepared to be proved wrong but my car has no mods and looks the same. :)

It looks like a standard shifter (number 3)

But it could be modified like the one on the left in this pic (need to see it without gaitor)

where the link has been ground off and rewelded on 12mm higher to give the same movement as the TRD one (on right) I also chopped off 8mm to make it the same height :)

ye i shoulda taken pic without gaitor!

it just "feels" lower than my rev2 one

perhaps a more top heavy gear knob will help (i have a "weighted" one from my old car).

Hi Jim

Think i am right in saying that from 3 onwards they shifter was slightly lower as standard so likely OE.

defo rev2-5 is the same.
im thinking its probably the 10-20mm of height difference in the stick i was used to thats making me think its lower.

Thanks for that, I thought mine had a quick shift lever on it but wasn't sure, just checked and it's the TRD one.
