Re: Driver's door scrapping front wing? How did that happen?

Had the same problem on my car, I fixed it by slackening the wing mounting bolt just below the corner of the windscreen (access with the door open) and re-tightening while pressing down on the top edge of the wing. Not sure why it happened but it works fine now :thumleft:
Hope that helps.

Tyres

What do you guys think of the firestone TZ200 as these are available at a great price and are Z rated.

If I don't go for these I will go for either eagle F1, Yoko Parada or Toyo Proxes

Which is best in the 195/50 r15 size?

Re: Wheel size advice please

The wheels I am looking at are 14" 4x 100 pcd 35... 42 et and 56.5 centre bore Just check that the offset is indeed between 35 and 38 else you may get handling problems. Ideally you do need spigot rings to make them fit properly but I'm sure BBS It's wheels only so tyres aren't an issue the fi...

Wheel size advice please

I can pick up a set of 5 BBS alloys locally "worth the money" :D but wonder if they are ok for the Mk1. According to what I have read the correct size is 14" 4x100 pcd 35... 38 offset and 54 centre bore. The wheels I am looking at are 14" 4x 100 pcd 35... 42 et and 56.5 centre bo...

The reason I asked was because I want to have a go at changing the indicator lens to clear a la Jimi but don't want to f$%k up the original lights JUST IN CASE i make a hash of it, so going to buy a set from a scrappy to experiment with.

Which oil

I have read that Mr T says to use 15/50 oil. I have some 15/50 fully synthetic is this ok or should it be semi-synthetic or mineral
