Re: IMOC Trackday- Sat 3rd September @ Elvington
Another big thank you to Lauren and the BAT team for such a brilliant day. I couldnt have enjoyed it more. It was good meeting other members and putting some names to faces. As this was my first track day I did the 20 min tuition session very early on and that made all the difference for the rest of...

Re: MR2 specialists in the north west. Manchester/Cheshire
Have a word with Ric Wood in Stockport, they are dastek dealers and seem to know a bit about MR2's. They have worked on mine and I was very impressed.

Re: Pod result
While you guys are talking about the effect of temperature can you tell me whether an electronic boost controller would have maintained the correct level of boost in that heat (regardless of the fact that the thinner air would not have been so effective). I have a grainger valve and my level of boos...

I think IMOC members and cars seemed a bit elusive so some of us ended up on the OC stand!!

Re: T1-R or T1-S?
We seem to be running out of decent options. SO3's now seem to be completely unobtainable. T1R's look like one of the few that are available in the right sizes. I've been looking for a set of good tyres for standard wheels, 205/50/15 and 225/50/15 get one you cant get the other!!

Re: Trackdays/tyres
I have been reading most of the posts on tyres and trackdays as I am going to the IMOC day at Elvington (incidentally if this is the one you want to book I should be quick, its one place off full unless they can sqeeze any extras in). Lauren has already posted that as its a concrete surface, if dry ...

I've just bought a set from Rogue Systems. £30 delivered next day. However Patrick said they had not got so many left now but worth a phone call.

Re: IMOC Trackday- Sat 3rd September @ Elvington
Just checked confirmed bookings, there are 25 now so looks like it will be a good MR2 day. 17 people on the provisional list so more than enough to fill the remaining places. Cant wait!

Re: What power should I be getting and where do I go next?
Don't know what that is at the flywheel, it always causes an argument when you try to convert. My downpipe is from Rogue systems, but there are quite a few around, if you want cheap you will have to look out for a second hand one. The intercooler replaces the standard one, its a long way from the en...

Re: What power should I be getting and where do I go next?
Yours is a Rev 2 I think. My rev 2 with similar mods and same boost but with a downpipe and greddy intercooler as well was running just under 220bhp at the hubs. Dyno'd at Thor. Adding a unichip increased this to 240bhp.

Re: Weird clicking when I reverse
I know this might sound daft but when did you last check your wheel nuts for tightness. I had exactly this on my car when I first picked it up. It turned out to have three not very tight wheel nuts on one wheel!
