[Mk2] [NA] Custom bonnet
I'm thinking of changing the bonnet on my mr2. I'd like something a bit different but not tacky. Something with a couple of vets in perhaps. After a quick look on the interweb it looks like there's not a lot about, and what there is is in the states. Any ideas of a uk company that does bodykits or s...

[Mk2] [NA] Rear Bumper grille
Just picked up a rather nice rev 5 with a stainless steel exhaust after my rev 2 was written off. Theres a small black grille on the rear bumper that obscures the rather nice stainless back box. What's the best way to take this off? I hate to say I haven't checked yet with the weather being so wet I...

Re: [Mk2] [NA] Engine bay bling
Yeah I was probably just going to go with the blue as I think it stands out.
Thanks for the links, I'm going to check them out.
I looked at some auto glym engine de-greaser in Halfords.
About
£9 though.
Gunk do an aerosol cheaper but I think I'd be inclined to go for the auto-glym.

[Mk2] [NA] Active speakers or not

[Mk2] [NA] Seat swapping
Can anyone tell me if seats from a Mk3 MR2 will fit into a Mk2 MR2?
I need some because my leather seats are worn to bits and seen some cheap MK3 leathers on ebay.

[Mk2] [NA] New rims.....can't decide!!!
Hey guys. Been looking for some new rims but I just can't decide. Wheelbase are selling Ace wheels pretty cheap for a set of 17's but trying to picture what they'll look like on my car isn't easy. Could I ask you to upload some pics of your mr2's with the alloys so I can get a decent image of what t...

Re: [All] [Generic] Dash LED....I have found the perfect ones.
Excuse my stupidity..... So all you have to do to change the colour is replace the leds? And that means taking out the entire binacle? Is it an easy enough job. I'm quite good with my hands but have never really attempted anything like this but have to say yours looks pretty slick!! I want to...

[Mk2] [NA] Problem with my alarm
Hi all. Rev 2 mr2 gt. Problem with the alarm. I tink it's the standard toad. When I lock it I only get one pip instead of the 3 I normally get, then the alarm will just go off randomly, often in the middle of the night. It's becoming such a problem I'm having to leave it unlocked overnight now. Has ...

Screenwash
Hi all. I did a quick search on this subject but couldn't find any good answers. Obviously it's winter and it's literally freezing out, so the screenwash is turning into one giant ice cube in the tank and with no engine to warm it up, it aint melting!! What sort of stuff can I put in with it to stp ...

[Mk2] [NA] Oil Light
I have an issue with the oil light that keeps coming on on the dash which started happening last week all of a sudden. It's the orange one directly below the 9 on the rev counter. I've found that it will come on for a few seconds the go again a few seconds later, sometimes when I brake. Having looke...

[Mk2] [NA] Non Pop Up Headlights
What company makes/sells the headlights that replace the OE pop up ones.
I want some that sit flush and dont pop up as I believe it will reduce drag and aid performance if only slightly, and it will look better too.

What are the name of the headlights that you can get that sit flush with the bonnet.
Im not a big fan of the poppy up ones and they must have some effect on performance and aerodynamics when driving with them up.

Re: [Mk2] [NA] Water getting inside
To be honest I'm not sure if it's a rev 1 or 2.
It's on a K plate.

Thanks for your advice anyway, I'll check it out.

[Mk2] [NA] Water getting inside
[size=18][/size]ok so i recently fixed my leaky t bars with some good advice from the guys on this forum and everything is fine with them. However, after the heavy rain last week, during which my car was parked outside and not driven I have found quite a lot of water sitting in the driver side footw...

[Mk2] [NA] Aerial problems and wiring, need help.
Ok, so the original leccy aerial is broke due to the previous owner taking it thru the car wash with it fully up! I have bought a replacement non standard one from ebay that will fit toyota mr2's up to 1999. Mine being a K plate fits that description. I've removed the old one fine following an onlin...

[Mk2] [NA] Front splitter
Thinking of respraying the black front splitter on my rev 1 to match the colour of the rest of the car. Last time I did some interior parts long ago, and used a how to guide in max power, and they come out great. I have long chucked out that mag though so does anyone know of a decent online guide to...

Re: [Mk2] [NA] Fitting Sidelight & Indicator Clusters
That sucks then.
I don't have a soldering iron.
Is there anyway of cutting the wires on the car side and getting a plug that will fit the light connecter and attatching it?
Don't know if that makes any sense, I'm not great with this sorta thing.
