[Mk2] [NA] LSD? Stuck in snow
Hi all, Fired up the MR2 this morning and tried to drive off, only the right wheel was spinning. The conditions were not bad at all, just some compacted snow. I drive a 1998 UK MR2, so it comes equipped with the LSD (supposedly). Funny thing is that when I was stuck, I was driving back and forth and...

[Mk2] [NA] Steering column from REV5 to REV1
Hi All,
I'm not happy with my UK Rev5 steering position, so i am going to strip my steering column from my Import Rev1 and put it in my UK Rev5?

On Uk models we don't have the adjustment where the steering wheel can come in or out.

Has anyone done this yet?

Re: [Mk2] [NA] Rear speakers - 10cm?
Hi All, Managed to get the SUB in after making the fatal mistake of installing the AMP on the wrong side #-o So after another 3hrs of stripping the interior and rewiring, the sub went in. I got this Alpine 10" and box of ebay for 25quid, so it was quite a cheap option as a good pair of 6x9's wo...

Just check the front top mounts as they are prone to going, also bushes/droplinks etc.

Re: HELP! buying a mk2 and need advice!
Nah, it should have the red stitched gear shift knob and air bag steering wheel. His is on a S plate so really can't be a late rev4, late rev 4's were on a R plate. Mines a late R plate and it has the a red stitched gear shift knob and air bag steering wheel. The owner b4 may have changed the wheel ...

Re: [Mk2] [NA] Key Fob Sync
Hi,
Just bought a spare fob from ebay.

Does anyone know how to reprogram a new fob?

I have a TVSS III alarm on a 98 UK MR2, on the back of the fob it reads RTT/D/X 1123 and the part no.
is 08191-00880.

Re: [Mk2] [NA] Rear speakers - 10cm?
I remember in one of the posts they said they can get 4inch alpines in the rear. They anit gonna put much out as there only 4inch. I have just made my mind up and i'm sticking in a 10" Alpine sub (enclosed) behind the drivers seat. Amp is on the passengers side. So basically, just running compo...

Re: [Mk2] [NA] Rear speakers - 10cm?
I'm just doing mine too! Fitted the front speakers (component 16cm pioneers) and a Kenwood 4channel AMP, now i'm pondering shall i stick in rear speaekrs or a sub :? If its rear speakers then its 6x9's in the cubby boxes :) Rear speakers in the original position don't generate enough mid bass :neutr...
