Fired up the MR2 this morning and tried to drive off, only the right wheel was spinning.

The conditions were not bad at all, just some compacted snow.

I drive a 1998 UK MR2, so it comes equipped with the LSD

Funny thing is that when I was stuck, I was driving back and forth and I noticed only the right wheel was spinning.

I thought maybe a calliper was stuck, so I put the handbrake on about 60% and then drove forward, the car was able to move forward, I could not see if the left wheel was turning as well as the right wheel, but I assume so as it got me out of the snow.

I stopped and put the handbrake down completely and drove forward again, I was stuck again, the right wheel spun only! Weird??

So, again I put the handbrake on about 60% and then drove forward, the car was able to move forward.

As soon as I got on a non icy road I speed up to about 25mph and when I took my foot of the gas and stuck the car in neutral

This happened for about 5minutes, then everything returned to normal.

This has happened to me twice and it was on very cold mornings

Any ideas guys?

Anyone faced this issue?
