if the big end bearings are gone what would be the best route to fix, new engine?or get this one rebuilt?is there any way of knowing for sure that the bearings are to fault?

yes rises higher and lower with the revs.no idea only had the car about 2 weeks.

hear it from start up hot or cold,not when im on the move.standard engine as far as i no.also there seems to be alot of vibrations that come through the whole car when driving it.at first i thought it might be the exhaust touching the subframe but it wernt.any ideas?

[Mk2] [Turbo] bottom end knocking?

i have noticed a slight knocking noise from my rev 3 turbo,got it up on a ramp and the machanic said it sounds like its coming from the sump area,is there any way in telling if it is the bottem end knocking?apart from that the car seems to drive fine,cheers for any help in advance :thumleft:

how do you know when the rack needs replacing?i have had mine checked out by the local tyre shop,and they said it had slight play is this normal?

had tein springs fitted to mine,and they felt way to bumpy for the road and everyday driving.my mate has got apexi springs but on kyb shocks and they seem to work well.

basecoat is the colour.the nozzle i use at work for primer is 1.4mm.i think the sizes go from 1mm to 2mm.what spary guns will you be using?

sprayed some wd40 on them earlier so hopefully they should come out,if not just have to drill them.it says on the pics lense clip?does this mean there just clipped on?

when the car is new it has fresh paint?so obviously its going to last a good few years,but once its faded and you polish it back up,give it a month or two and it will be back to the way it was.and the more you polish it,and look after it as you say,you will end up burning threw. the only way to do i...

u probly can help prevent the paint from fading,but after all the years abuse from the british weather it will never last.its going to last longer than a month from new. ](*,)

that will last about a month.the reaon it fades is because it has been painted with solid colour (no clear coat) so nothing to protect the paint.the only way to do it properly is to use water base paints and laquer,will never fade. :thumleft:
