[Mk2] [NA] location of core plug on rev1 n/a?
where's the core plug located on a 1990 rev1 3SGE?
I mean on which side etc., with the engine still in the car...?

Re: rev 3 lights on rev 1. where have you put your reverse light??
Yeah no worries, let me know.
A reverse light is classed as an accessory for MOT purposes, and if its not fitted then you'll have no problems.
Similarly, if there is a reverse light fitted, it must work

you don't need a reverse light for MOT, so just forget about it. I mean seriously, who really needs a reverse light to reverse

Re: Datsun Flares
Is that your car Lost Ghost? I have seen that picture several times on the internet and it is the best Mk1 i've ever seen. I'm a Mk2 owner but would love a Mk1 if i could find a good auto one. I would probably shamelessly have it just like the one in that pic. Simply awesome :D By the way, i've just...

Re: Paint code 187-202? (Dark Gray Metallic)
The dark grey is just the normal colour that Rev2 steel mist grey cars had their side strips painted in. As far as I know the colour was never used for the whole car. If you search in the garage for Rev2 SMG cars you will see what I mean, also the years listed in your EPC link confirm this. HTH, Ni...

Re: Paint code 187-202? (Dark Gray Metallic)
I thought the blue interiors only came on blue and white cars? :-k Would be interesting to see a black car with blue interior and these side strips :) Reason i was asking about this colour as my car will be getting a respray in a different colour once i get the kit fitted and i thought this dark gre...

[Mk2] [Generic] Anyone got any Replikit carbon products?
As the title says, anyone got any carbon bits from Replikit? :-k In particular their bootlids? :-k Reason i ask, is that i got this one second hand a while back, and i have to say i'm distinctly unimpressed with the quality, or lack of! So just wondering if anyone else's is the same? Not sure what i...

Re: Paint code 187-202? (Dark Gray Metallic)
ah i think you may be right there :) looking at the other part numbers on that page, it has one that is maroon metallic, but the colour code is 3E5 Super Red, so that must be for a red car that has the dark red side mouldings, i'm sure i've seen those before :-k Similarly it lists light silver metal...

Re: Paint code 187-202? (Dark Gray Metallic)
yep thats the colour i know its definitely not :) Is the official name for it Steel Mist Grey though? As according to the EPC, 187 is "Bluish Gray Argentu". Perhaps they are named different between UK, USDM and JDM? :-k Reason i'm asking this anyway is that i have some new toblerones (colo...

Paint code 187-202? (Dark Gray Metallic)
Has anyone got a car in this paint code, or at least a picture of one so i can see what its like as i don't think i've seen it before. Its a rather dark grey, not the lighter silvery grey/blue that you see on MR2s :-k And from the paint code listed, it seems to be a mix of "202 Black" and ...

Yes they definitely do serve a purpose, when used in conjunction with the TOM's sealed air box on n/a cars.
The rest is negligible and really a matter for the IMOC stalwarts to argue over

maybe its to redirect cold air towards the back of the air-con radiator, which would make the air-con colder?

Re: [Mk2] [Turbo] THE FACTS ON AIR SCOOPS
Anyway, my take on the TOM's scoops is that they do look a bit daft. IF you are going with them then i reckon you need the full TOM's kit to pull them off, ie. you are creating a TOM's replica car and not just putting one on becuae you like the look of them. Sometimes fitting a silly looking mod is ...
