you don't need a reverse light for MOT, so just forget about it. I mean seriously, who really needs a reverse light to reverse

Yeah no worries, let me know.
A reverse light is classed as an accessory for MOT purposes, and if its not fitted then you'll have no problems.
Similarly, if there is a reverse light fitted, it must work

Thats not strictly true. Some MOT people will argue that the original vehicle was equipped with reverse lights and and you have modified teh car unsafely be removing some of the standard safety equipment.

well i have a fairly freindly mot center do my car every time. and theve overlooked a few things in the past. but as i asked earlier. where else can i put a reverse light? im thinking below the bumper where the fog light is. does a reverse light just have to light up white? ie can you use any lights?
