Re: [Mk2] [Turbo] Anyone near Bristol know any emission friendly MOT places?
I get all my MOTs done at FCM Motorsport. Give them a buzz, theyre in St. George, Bristol. They're all official as they can't afford to do dodgy MOTS and are fully legit but if you have issues they'll work them out for you. If you're over 3.5% then you need to realy get it all sorted out before you ...

Re: [Mk2] [Turbo] Poorly Mr2....like PROPERLY poorly :-(
Hi guys, just thought I'd let you know that it was a problem with too much air...not a boost leak though. I thought I'd start at the beginning so took off the apexi filter, all good there, nothing wrong with it. So took off the AFM....and there it was...clear as day. The AFM was stuck open. It was a...

Re: [Mk2] [Turbo] Poorly Mr2....like PROPERLY poorly :-(
@ Alan, cheers for the reply dude.....car wont even start tho. I've checked to see if it's an ignition problem and there's spark so that's all good (unfortunately :-( ) @ Rogue. I'll check the induction hoses, but i'd have thought, with it being an afm it would still start if there was additional ai...

Hi People! I have a mk2 '93 t-bar turbo. Just turned 80k! :-( Anyways, I was drivin to work the other day and had just gotten on to the dual carriage-way a short distance from my work place. Re: CF Border Bonnet
Hi buddy! I've already got a CF hood now so won't be in on the GB for the hood, but if you get a price for the 355 engine cover I could be interested if that helps your GB. Also what si2040 said about the fitment is very true. My Border hood came from the states and import duty had to be paid by the...

[Mk2] [Generic] FAO those with Border bonnets
Hi, I have a border bonnet. At the moment instead of just taking out the plastic slam panel and revealing a rusty top on my rad I have cut vents in it so the vented bonnet can still do it's job and allow the flow of air through the border bonnet, through the rad and out the vented bonnet. My questio...

Did a quick search on Demon Thieves for you....that's what they have when I typed in "Heat shield". I'd go with the Nimbus stuff as heard good things and it's solid but is pliable in straight lines so you can bend it to fit round whatever you need really. http://www.demon-tweeks.co.uk/prod...

Alternatively you could use exhaust heat wrap or reflective heatshield tape wrap.

But the carbon/kevlar would look awesome

Re: [All] [Generic] Heat reflective material for my pipes (What to use??) HELP PLEASE
I'd try and make/find a halfpipe shaped length of carbon fibre to go round the outside of the pipework. Or you could use flat sheeting you can buy and make a box section. Or just use a flat piece of carbon fibre sheeting. To be extra hardcore you could use Carbon fibre and kevlar sheeting to make a ...

I didnt do the work bud. I guy Who goes by the name of Prime Shine did it for me. And yes, you're right to be worried about burning through the paint as it can happen easily if the paint is soft or you use the wrong pad  If you look through the photos on the top link he shows one of the pads ...

Sure I recognised the same Photograph

Actually, seeing the rear dish, could suit the car.
Can you get a side on shot of the car and a flat photo of the rims you want?
I'll try and photoshop them for you

Re: [Mk2] [Generic] Got my Mr2 Detailed
Cheers.
I well happy with the way it turned out.
The paintwork was so dodgy I didnt think he'd get as good a results as he did so fair play.
Pretty much every panel on my car has been resprayed at least once in it's life

I took some photos a few hours afterwards.
