[Mk2] [Turbo] Anyone near Bristol know any emission friendly MOT places?

Post by davidmit »

My Tubby will need an MOT in a few months, last time due to the Decat and mods it failed the emissions by quite a long way.

I took it up to luton then to a garage which specialised in classic cars which was happy to overlook the emissions test on mine (As its a waste of time anyhow)

Rather than have a 300+ mile round trip has anybody found any 'sympathetic' mot places near Bristol?

If so please PM me,
Thanks

K reg, its got a power fc but its had a rev3 conversion and bigger injectors and fuel pump so I figured it would be harder to get it not over fuelling when at idle?

Yes, But if you fail that you have serious problems.
I asked God for a bike, but I know God doesn't work that way. So I stole a bike and asked for forgiveness.

I get all my MOTs done at FCM Motorsport. Give them a buzz, theyre in St. George, Bristol. They're all official as they can't afford to do dodgy MOTS and are fully legit but if you have issues they'll work them out for you. If you're over 3.5% then you need to realy get it all sorted out before you ruin something.
