Re: [Mk2] [Turbo] When should i book my turbo's funeral???
Hi It will pas vapour yes - but as this goes back into the inlet it is condensing and this is where the oil build up is created as it dries back in the inlet. Once it begins to heat agin during running of the engine it turns back into oil and is sucked through the system I agree with you a lot of oi...

Re: [Mk2] [Turbo] rev1 boost presure on std fueling.
The rev 1 fuelling was designed to run the ct26 - not the ct20b, and there fore will run out of info on what to do past the 5k rpm range. A rev 2 ecu may change things slightly as i had no problems at all running a ct20b on my old rev2. As the guys have saifd though, £400 is should get you a nice af...

Hi

If it was hot and you had been sat in traffic then yes this could happen
- should clear though once you get going and get some nice cool air into the intake and over the intercooler

Usually a sign of electric component wear

Check:

Re: [Mk2] [Turbo] INSURED WITH PROVISIONAL LICENSE?
I really do hope an insurance company is reading this and reports you!!!! 1 - how the hell are you going to do the test in your MR2. For one - the first thing an examinier will do is check your car over for roadworthyness - tyres ect - tax, mot and ask to see a fully comp insurance document - withou...

Re: 3SGTE help!!!!
Common mistake the anti lag. Yes it is on their due to the homlogation rules. However, its not actually activated, is very exspensive to activate, and i dont actually know anyone form the GT4 club who activated it, as they are renowned for stripping years from your engine :o( You'd know more about i...

Re: 3SGTE help!!!!
Problem with the 3-SGTE from the celica is that it is fat!!

There are subtle differences

The alternator is in a different place, and all the pipe work.
However.
Thje TMIC should fit in nicely

Re: [Mk2] [Turbo] Car feels like its holding back
You would be suprised just how much difference!!! Just a few degerees difference means the air entering the mix isnt as dense, therefore doesnt get as much fuel mixed in with it, therefore doesnt create as big a bang! in turn means less power turning the crank. Would try and get an inline uprated fu...

Re: [Mk2] [Turbo] Car feels like its holding back
Lu what cooling are you running on the top mount intercooler? Any fans or anything? Theres a lot of heat coming from that engine/coolanmt pipes. The smic has a direct airflow over the whole face of the intercoller, giving maximum airflow eifficiency for it to dissapate heat. Where you have your TMIC...
