Re: Exhaust back box
My flexi pipe is blowing so took it to custom pipes in Doncaster and was quoted £250 for flexi a bit of stainless and a backbox. What a ripoff.
Need somewhere else to try as its doing my head in blowing

Re: Oil catch can connectors
Rang bee fittings from the link above, and gave them vernier measurements of the fitting and they Sussed it out straight away.
Magic total for 2 fittings was £1.80

Re: Oil catch can connectors
Got the push to lock fitting off my other catch tank and it fits perfectly. How do I now measure the threads to figure out what size I need order one?
Or is there such a thing as a thread measurer? ( is measurer a word? LOL )

Re: Oil catch can connectors
That's fantastic, I was at a complete loss on this one.
I have a catch tank on another car, so I can take one of the fittings off and check the fitting against this one, then get a couple ordered )

I have been given an oil catch can which is brand new, but the side viewing tube and connectors are missing.

Re: K&N type filter fitting
Thanks for the info, that helps immensely.
Will have to make those connections up on the k&n type filter I have, but I can't see a problem.

K&N type filter fitting
I am in the process of fitting a K&N style filter to my " F plate" T- Bar , and have noticed that the intake pipe connected to the throttle body has a couple of connections in it, namely vacuum hoses and some sort of air monitor plug thing. If I fit a K&N filter directly to the thr...

Re: Fitting Original MR2 Roadster Alloys&Tyres Year 2000
Picked the wheels up this afternoon, they are split mint, the tyres are all 6mm+ and excellent, they came with original wheel nuts and genuine Toyota locking nuts.
What a bargain for £50
Well chuffed.
Now time to sell the tyres and pick some nice 195's up

Some great reply's here peeps,
Thankyou for all your advice. I think i may try and sell the tyres which are on the wheels at present, and then go buy some nice new 195's.
I suppose talking which tyres to go for is a whole different thread

Fitting Original MR2 Roadster Alloys&Tyres Year 2000
I have just bagged a set of the above wheels for £50 with good tyres. 205/50/15 rear and 185/55/15 front. My question is can I use the original Mk1 wheel-nuts to fit these? or should I buy the correct wheel-nuts for the job, and if so what do I need? Can I run with these tyres for the time being as ...

Re: T Bar windscreen replacement through insurance
Se great comments here guys, especially with regards the trims and removing them before they come to fit the new windscreen.
I will leave mine a few weeks then ring the insurance as it happened on the same day I picked it up (looks a bit dodgy)

Re: south yorkshire meet
That is exactly what I was going to say.
It really is a great night up at Squires Cafe, with lots of different cars to see.
I will definitely be there every month with the newly acquired T Bar. Would be great to see a few more Mk1's on the car park.

T Bar windscreen replacement through insurance
Bought a cracking T Bar yesterday and travelled 180 miles to pick it up. In the last 5 miles coming home a stone came off a lorry and cracked the windscreen on the passenger side right on the edge against the A post. Im absolutely gutted. I have read that the T Bar can be a nightmare changing the wi...

Slight whistle pushing throttle to accelerate?
Just picked up a great T Bar today and whilst driving of the throttle is pushed to accelerate there is a slight whistle.
What would this be, I also heard a very faint rattle also. Not sure if the rattle is something lose.
Any help would be great in helping me solve these noises[/b]
