The suns out and we've just had a warm week - prices always pick up slightly at this time of year.
I'd be surprised if they've bottomed out just yet - give it a couple more years for all the really nasty ones to end up uneconomic to maintain and to get a bit rarer and then they might pick up.
Looks absolutely amazing that. Just hope it isn't ruined by becoming popularised. Drove part of it a couple of weeks ago. They are some stunning roads, but it's also North Wales police area, and everyone knows how much they love motorists enjoying themselves  There are a lot of equally good r...
I personally think its the bane of forums to find cars are nearly always priced more expensively than they are in the small ads. Same with PH. But having said that, often forum members/enthusiasts will do a better job of looking after their car than Joe Public - both mechanically and cosmetically. ...
Also if the compressor doesn't engage for any reason (eg clutch plate missing) the revs won't go up - so it may not be due to lack of gas. I also thought the indicator in the panel flashed if it detected low pressure :-k Having said that if the system hasn't worked for a while then as Allan said, th...
Rev3 uses the standard gas (R134a IIRC) so you should be fine - assuming that nothing else is wrong (ie if it hasn't been used for a while then the compressor might be seized).
Hi Steve is north weald open to the public? :D :D :D I don't believe so. Andy Walsh at Car limits will give you a day of tuition exploring grip and limit handling at North Weald. There have also been activity days organised there for larger groups (have a look in the Events/Motorsport sections)
If it's a standard UK car, probably the big chains will be as good as anywhere. If it's modified or an import, then the specialist brokers are usually better - A-plan, Sky, Adrian Flux, Chris Knott etc. If you're a premium member there are discounts available with some of the above. This often comes...
Standard rev2 onwards are: front 195/55/15, rear 225/50/15
There's a calculator here: http://www.tyresave.co.uk/tyresize.html
that will let you check equivalent sizes on different rim diameters.
HTH,
Jon
sorry fornot holding out and buying your car, but at least you see I was genuine and wanted a car :) No problem - just means I get to drive it a bit more :) Just been out for a run with another guy who came to view and I'd forgotten just how effortlessly it picks up speed. Damn sight twitchier than...
Also, consider the most missed upgrade - the driver. At my first trackday I spent 20 quid on a sessions tuition and it added a good 20-30mph to my cornering speeds simply from having a better feel for where to put the car and how to get the most out of it. I considered myself a reasonably quick/comp...
This looks like a very good example at a cheap price. I'd be tempted if I was on the lookout. Thanks. I think it is a very good example, and needs absolutely nothing doing to it. It's still for sale - and while I wish I could get more for it, at the moment the market seems slow, so grab yourselves ...
Have a look in the feedback section for NVI - quite a few of us (myself included) have bought cars from him. A thought if you're buying from any dealer is that you'll be paying more than a private sale, but if you're taking the car back to NI, a warranty won't be much help. There are various buying ...
Another Toyo hater here. Dunlop SP9000s :thumleft: but often hard to get hold of (they must make them in batches). Even the old Yok A022s I found better than the Toyos. Didn't notice any difference as they wore either, although a friend (IIRC he had a VX220) said they got to decent grip just as you ...
But if you were being picky...say a Rev 3+ Turbo T-Bar with low mileage that hasn't been thrashed. Now they're becomming a little harder to find and as such, I can see them continuing to warrant a premium. Depends how quickly you need to sell. If you can hang on for a buyer who is as much of a perf...
Thanks for the feedback. As I said above, there is some flexibility in the price. I think it reflects the condition of the car (which is excellent), but I'm picking up the new car next week so I do need the space.
If there are no signs you have to assume it's 30mph. You wont ever win by saying there's no signs saying it's not 30mph. Depends on the street light interval. IIRC street lights less than 186m apart indicates 30mph, further apart than this indicates NSL. Unless signed otherwise. There aren't any sp...
