Sold my '2 a couple years ago and recently moved house to find an old set of plasma glow gauges which were sent to me in error when I ordered some off the web. My question is, for what type of mk2 are they for? I ask because I noticed the temp...

[Mk2] [Turbo] RX8 wheels on a '2
Hi all,

I heard that mazda rx8 wheels fit straight on to an mr2.
Is this true and if so, any one done it?

I'm interested to see what they would look like as I do like the look of them.

[Mk2] [Turbo] coolant change
hi all, just a quickie before i go to bed. I wanna change my coolant as its looking rather brown...not pasty, just brown (bad?) so i wanna change it. Ive heard mixed things about it being a really hard task so: is it a big deal to change and how much you looking at as a typical cost? is it diy-able?...

[Mk2] [Turbo] I hate road tax.
Trying to get my '2 back on the road - got the mot and got the insurance. Turns out i need to waste potentially 6 weeks waiting for the good old dvla to change my address on their "computer" as i have moved whilst my '2 was declared as SORN. The difficulty I have is that I only have the V1...

remember the original question...
I think we need to understand a typical scenario in which the original question was probably being reffered to.. Of course if you mod the hell out of your car and you end up killing somone from driving dangerously and you either werent insured or didnt declare anything then you would expect to get t...

Re: rear lights
Just be careful when you prize off the triangle reflector not to crack it. Ease gently with a flat head screwdriver. ...and put a bit of masking tape around the end of the screw driver to protect the plastic if you slip etc... ...and always hold the screw driver properly and dont run with it. hehe

[Mk2 Turbo] Spigot/Centering Rings
I need some of these rings but apparently need to know the manufacture of my wheels to get some. Cant see anywhere on the wheels that says anything useful, so can anyone identify what manufacture wheels I have from these two pics please? And if anyone knows where i can get these rings from then that...

[Mk2 Turbo] Alternator belt change - engine out?
Might be a silly question but i read in another post that while the clutch is being changed with the engine dropped, the alternator belt may as well be replaced. Mine is squealing way to often for my liking, mainly when its damp but in the dry as soon as i do a parking manouvre and carry out heavy s...

Re: Do i have a ghost?
i could be wrong, but your description sounds exactly like my exhaust burbling away randomly in 2nd or 3rd gear with low/med revs... Not sure what exhaust I have exacty as it was on when the car was imported, but its just a big fat single exit one. Dont know if you get the same noise on standard pip...
