Re: [Mk2] [Turbo] Apexi pfc pro software or datalogit
Unfortunately my skills dont stretch that far, Tony was more into that than I was, so unfortunately cannot help there. Everyone on the scene certainly always used Ryan from 2BarTuning, who had a superb reputation of getting the best out of the tubby whilst being safe. As you will see, John has edite...

Re: [Mk2] [Turbo] Apexi pfc pro software or datalogit
gtech how did you get along with the co pilot software? i've been using it (as a complete begginer) for a while, the wideband is hooked upto it. The car was mapped and was fine on boost but a bit rich outside of it so ive confidently leaned out the idle and cruise AFR's to where they should be. But...

I would also like to add, that I expect "John25" to apologise for his rash statement. Maybe you should of spoken to David before coming out with what you did.

(Myself and GTech helped the FC-Hako guys sort out teething problems with their firmware.) Dear tubby_tony, We have never ever had any problems let alone never contacted you regarding solving any problems whatsoever with FC-Hako. So how can you claim and the GTech (what is that, we have no idea!) h...

Re: Recaro "fish net" seat repair
I have the Recaro "fish net" seats in my car. The passenger one looks brand new however the driver seat is worn on the door side bolster. It is not worn through completely but thin enough so that the foam can be seen. I am wanting to repair the seat but thinking of doing the full seat sur...

Re: [Mk2] [Generic] Meister Zeta R
Hi Michael, Go through the website http://www.meisterr.com/ Really cannot praise these enough, I'm not the only one who has driven the car and got a shock at how comfortable the ride is, and with the suspension dropped, I think it shocks you at first because you dont normally get such comfort with C...

Re: [Mk2] [Generic] Meister Zeta R
The Meister R's are superb coilovers. I had a set on for approx 18months, ride height was dropped around 30mm and ride setting was on 16 of 32 and no word of a lie, the ride was far better than OEM. They come with anodised pillow ball mounts. The adjusters are easily accessible to adjust from SOFT ...

Re: [Mk2] [Generic] Meister Zeta R
Ignore that ..... I never got round to changing sig. I orginally had the Teins on, and to be honest I nearly got rid of the car the ride was so hard. I then went to standard struts with PI Springs, before ending up with the Meister R. They really are superb coilovers, well put together and the compa...

You find yourself deliberately going for pot holes as you just don't feel them, the suspension takes ...

Re: limits of a 3sgte
Is it still worth getting a water meth kit installed? I would say definately, although Tony runs PowerFC, I currently run the standard Rev 3 ECU, I see superb temp drops between pre and post IC, more so in the summer when the outside temps are a lot higher. You get that Oommph on tap, that you get ...

Re: d2 coilovers opinions?
I spent 6 months going through all available options for Coilovers for the MR2, I cannot sustain a hard ride due to a spinal injury, I wanted something that would give an OEM ride. The guy at MeisterR gave me a guarantee that if I was not satisfied with the ride and the product within 6 months, I wo...

Re: d2 coilovers opinions?
Dont know about the D2's but I run the " Meister R " coilovers which are awesome. Better than OEM ride comfort, with the ability to lower as much as I want without it affecting ride comfort, all achieved by using a double perch system. They have 32 positions between soft and hard to make s...

Re: suspension upgrade
+1 for Meister R's Awesome ride quality, I would say far better than OEM, all helped by the "Double Perch" system which enables you to drop the height without affecting ride comfort, then you have 32 position adjustment soft to hard. Mine have been on 2yrs now and still look like new. Fant...
