He brought friends with him, I opted to mock him on the internet instead

Thats a bit harsh don't you think, to just stereotype immediately at people just down to the language they use on an Internet forum!
To be honest the younger generation of people now talk short hand- mainly because of the invention of SMS and MSN
/ any other IRC
(similar) chat programs.
This doesn't effect the quality of work etc they hand in at uni.
.
or the person in question may suffer from dyslexia!?
I admit that I feel in this case that it was driver error..
and also from a 360 spin on the road isn't the place to get out and puke up outside your car!
As you say that you crashed 2 cars while you were young(although I'm sure they weren't MR ones
but as you said you learnt from it.
.
so surely we should hope that essexgirly does too? Or at least why not help and show her the error of her ways? Ie budget tyres, MR car
(if you come from FF cars or even FR cars) its totally different.
.
it has a reputation for being
"tail happy" by reporters.
.
well the early revs do anyway, even though they are fantastic until they break away.
.
its down to the drivers skill and experience on how they deal with it.
In this case an accident probably could've been avoided..
but unless we were in the drivers seat we'll never know.
Mainly just slow down and let the car tell you what its doing.
Too much throttle and you'll whip round!
Although I agree with you that at being at such a young age..
driving inexperience will have played a great deal in how to handle the situation than anything else.
90% of driver do the wrong thing on a skid pan, and this sounds like a case of
"not what to do".
Vicky Pollard,..
.
do you laugh at or relate too, wondering why people laugh? I think many of the younger SMS generation don't realise that they come across 100% Vicky Pollard when trying to communicate in SMS/MSN language especially when combined with general spelling mistakes you'd expect from a 8 year old.

I span my mk2 turbo after 3 weeks of ownership in the wet on crap tyres, and i'd been driving rear wheel drive cars 7 years at that point. It really does surprise me how some of these youngsters manage to buy and insure a car like a mk3 mr2.
It doesn't surprise me that the crashes then happen.

I dont know what happened weather it was something on the road or due to a dodgy tyre, but these things happen. It dosent just happen to girl/boy racers you know.
I think the way this thread has turned out is pretty appaling, with all the stereotyping that has gone on.I can't spell very well either but it dont mean i'm a chav.
