I'm afraid I will have to take my name off the attendee's list, as the new owner will be picking the car up on saturday :(

Don't suppose there is anyone near me who has room for a passenger ?

So close yet so far away...

Fecking insurance company have now told me they won't insure a car worth less than £15K, despite it being £10K 2 weeks ago.

Got to find a new company now. ](*,) #-o :x

I can get it insured no problem, the trouble is I want an agreed value scheme. That's what is giving me a headache!

Ahh... i see
a cheeky plan would be to get it insured anyway with whatever company, and you always get 14 days or something to cancel policy. soooo....do that, cancel policy after pod, and then get the insurance policy you are really after. then you have that 'just in case' insurance in place for pod.

ps: have you tried Adrian Flux - they do highly modifed and agreed values. (bet you have already)

...except if perchance I crashed on way to or from Pod I'd get book value of a few hundred quid, so I don't think so!!!!!

I've contacted several insurance companies - I am trying to get all my cars insured together as a 'collection' - let's see eh?!

I assume we can just randomly show up to spectate?
I'm meant to be swapping gearboxes in my Mk1 this Sunday but if weather is against me I'll postpone, my tubby could do with a good 100 mile (each way) run for its final stages of running in. (Spectating only obviously!)
