Wow, nobody likes a project anymore eh??

Crack on with it mate, You build race cars so I'm sure it's within your capabilities, Imoc is unfortunately the wrong place to do anything that goes against the grain of low compression pistons and a GT3071/6 these days. While Paul Woods does know what he's talking about most folk on here draw their experience from reading about other builds or wtaching their own build as they pay somebody to do the work for them so take no notice.

If you have the time and money why not? It's your time, your money and your car, just FYI I recently seen a turbo converted N/A (using the N/A block) in the states making close to 500bhp :thumleft:

Although you missed out sticking with the stock ECU because it will do everything you need

They're certainly up there!

Best method by far without upsetting brake bias.

So it was, I wasn't sure, did he not have supercharged V6 as well??

But back on topic, the OP should do what he wants without grief on here about it :thumleft:

I don't see anyone giving grief, just common sense advice.

"I have a man at home, but I want a woman. Should I just go out and find a woman, or should I convert the man into a woman?"

Most of IMOC "Go find a woman"

Sheppy "you guys stop being mean to him, go convert your man into a woman"

The OP is asking for info on how to convert it to a turbo, he's being told to swap the engine, while I agree with that it's not what he's asking.

"i have a woman at home who suffers from depression but i don't want her to"

Most of imoc: "get a different woman"

All those rolleyes, so easily wound up. seaons greetings shepster. Here, have the spoon back :thumleft:

OP - do what you like, but it'll cost you more to convert the n/a to turbo and deal with all the little bits that pop up along the way, that and the engine will probably go pop under any kind of sustained load. Stick a real turbo lump in there and enjoy Toyota's legendary 90s 3SGTE reliability.

Just to add, Goldy supercharged his 3s-fe not Fimmo, and had lots of issues with it.

So the advice is sound, go buy a 3s-gte as your starting point, unfortunately that is not what you WANT to hear.

So good luck :thumleft:

Fimmo bought the package from Goldy. the blue/green car is fimmos with the SC fitted. the link I posted was of goldys original project.
