Connecting a Toyota stereo...

I'm thinking of installing a Genuine Toyota UK doubledin CD/Tape player in replacement of my JAP IMPORT one which is also a Genuine Toyota doubledin player (CD doesn't read anymore). I've noticed the connector plug at the rear of the UK ones looks like this: See Image: http://img343.imageshack.us/im...

CD Player connector???

What type of connector do I need to fit into the back of this unit and then on to the MR2? I don't seem to be able to find any instructions as to what is what on the back. It was taken out of my last MR2 and the connector was left in the car when it was sent to the breakers after an accident. I woul...

Got trouble steering!!

The power assisted steering is starting to make a noise and the steering tightens up and then releases every time you turn the steering wheel especially when going right hand down?! Feels a bit dangerous to drive confidently. Would anyone know what this could be as I need to get this sorted ASAP. :s...

Re: Yokohama A022 tyres - opinions?

I bought a full new set of A022's, I tend to always go for original stock on the 15's. All I can say in short is 'Excellent in the dry, dangerous in the wet'.

Re: Adding Lockwood dials

Get a set from speedhut - mine came with lockwood dials and they look terrible compared to the speedhut ones. I know this may sound like a stupid question but why did the Lockwood dials look bad compared with the speedhut ones, is it because they didn't glow or was it the over all quality and look ...

Re: REVISION 5 Spoiler

Don't really need to adjust it and will probably never do that, just need to take it all apart so I can have it rubbed down properly and finished professionally after some muppet of a body sprayer had ago at it before. Thanks all for your help it does require a special tool which we have access to, ...

REV5 Front Speed flaps

Would anyone know the product code for the front wheel air deflectors ("Speed flaps") from Toyota? Also how much should I expect to pay for a pair of brand new 1994-on rear light clusters? Heres images of the deflector and rear light cluster. http://img371.imageshack.us/img371/813/98flaps7...

Adding Lockwood dials

I'm thinking of ordering some lockwood dials and wondered what was the method to doing this? Do I need to remove all the needles? They state on a website that you don't need to when you apply them, but I thought you did, otherwise how do they fit. If so how is it best to remove the needles and fit t...

Re: REVISION 5 Spoiler

I had a copy one before which a bodyshop took it apart as it was easier to spray. But this is an original JDM spoiler which is slightly different. I can't understand why they can't figure out how to loosen the nut being that they are suppose to be experts in repairing and spraying cars?! #-o I will ...

REVISION 5 Spoiler

I'm fitting an original Revision 5 spoiler and its being resprayed at a bodyshop and they are having problems trying to dismantle it. They have unscrewed the side panels and inside screws but for some reason they can't detach the spoiler fully from the 2 side supports as there is a bolt which I beli...

Interior bulb replacements

Have had my a car just a few days but didn't realise at night that some of the interior lights don't work. Around the heater control I remember from owning previous MR2's that the symbols of a stick man should be luminated as with the A/C, ECON and rear window buttons. (See Image as I can circled ro...

How do you dismantle a T-BAR Panel

One of my Panels is rattling abit, does anyone know after taking out the 2 small side screws what to do next as I don't want to force anything. Also does the flip handle pull off? Haven't tried to do that yet but I reckon thats what is restricting me removing the cover?
