[Mk2] [NA] Suspension broke :(

Can someone confirm that I'm looking at a rusted through top cup before I go about buying a new one taking my car apart?

I realise if this one's gone then the other will be soon to follow but I just need it back on the road for now!

Re: Help! - Ignition Barrel

I had a similar problem with my key not turning but the steering lock wasn't on and managed to start it after about 5 mins. A week later my flat was robbed and they got the spare key to my car so I got a full lock set with 2 keys for £45 delivered from a member on here. For the cost (assuming you fi...

Black rev 5 Bradford

I've seen this black rev5 a couple of times parked outside Champion Motor Spares on Leeds Road in Bradford.

I think it's the motor spares anyway. I always forget to look at the name of the shop and not the car

So cool. Annoying that they announced it like a year in advance though.

I don't do waiting for stuff! [-(

A thumbs up for jason for my complete lock set after my spare key was stolen in a break in.

Very helpful, speedy delivery (crucial in this case) and very quick to respond to pm's.

I'll be off this weekend to see it. I gave up my Cineworld card so missed the preview last Sunday :(

Re: [Mk2] [NA] I am a dipstick

A little advice to those who, like me, thought they didn't have a dipstick or tube in their rev2 3sge and so order new ones from Japan.

Have a look under the exhaust manifold heat shield first. ](*,)

Re: Ridiculous Insurance and trying to get to 15 posts.

It's actually cheaper for me to drive my UK 92' mk2 n/a than it would be for some god awful 1.0ltr corsa. A regular policy for me would be in excess of 10k! Lancaster Insurance fully comp classic policy 28 years old Licence held for 6 years 0 NCB Parked on drive in F zone £2,800 fault claim in last ...

Re: Ridiculous Insurance and trying to get to 15 posts.

I think where you live makes a huge difference. When I moved 3 miles closer to town with my old car the insurance went up £40 per month!

I passed a guy in a California yesterday and he was checking out my Mk2. He probably thought it was an F355 from a distance but it's nice when someone driving a Ferrari checks out what YOU'RE driving :)

Re: Meguires Vs Autoglym

I'm sure someone will correct me if I'm wrong but I think the reason "they" say not to use fairy liquid (other washing up liquids are available) is that it strips everything off the paint. That's fine if you're going to wax it again but you won't get a build up of layers doing that every t...
