Re: fitting wintec lea 826 alarm
Hay there So I have just left Dan's and my LEA 826, which is a cracking piece of kit. I can now view the temp of my car, remote start it, ope the boot via remote and loads of other stuff I'm reading in the book. Dan is actually in Sandy for the alarm fitting as it took Saturday and Sunday morning to...

Re: Frozen windscreen... On the inside...
Hay all, spent today putting silicon on all seals to see if it makes a difference. Went to see my dad and was in there an hour or two. Already I can see water droplets on the tbars between the glass and the roof covers. Also my windows were getting steamed up. Next thing is the pingi but it has not ...

Re: Frozen windscreen... On the inside...
Just ordered my pingi so cannot wait.
This morning I had a frozen windscreen and frozen hand break cable.
Does Vaseline do the trick or should I buy silicone spray or gel etc?
What is the best thing to get locally.

Re: Frozen windscreen... On the inside...
My car is driving me mad the window was frozen on the inside today and took like 25 mins to defrost and had water running down the window inside.
Think I need to start by putting silicon spray on all of the seals and try one of those pingi things.

[Mk2] [NA] Electric Windows
Hello All
one thing i miss from my SLK is that the electric windows stay powered after the key is removed for about 1 minute.
Has anyone done this or what cable needs to be changed to give the windows a constant 12v feed so they dont go off with the key?
Cheers All
