Re: [FINALIZED] 1998 Cosmos Blue MR2 (Beams Engine) SOLD
What's the condition of the engine like? Engine is in good shape, very clean, not a speck of oil anywhere, doesn't burn oil, no rattles or noise. Last service and service intervals? I had oil change and front pads done in May and its done less than 2k miles since then. I've done 8k miles since i bo...

Re: [FINALIZED] 1998 Cosmos Blue MR2 (Beams Engine) SOLD
All PM's answered, Ill just include the info below as it is being asked in most PM's. Hi I'm in Donegal (Letterkenny). The car has the normal problems for a 14 year old car, few chips and marks here and there. The worst is the back bumper which would need a spray but i think anyone who buys it would...

I think you might be right, i'm not 100% of the model. This is the only picture i have to hand; http://omg.wthax.org/2011_07_26_201510.jpg You would need to ask the DVLA how to registrar it. Worst case is it has be imported as a Jap import, but as its much easier to import an EU registered car you m...

Re: Front Bumper side lights
Mines an import as well, but for the new bumper i bought the clear lenses, i wonder if i got standard import lenses and put them in would it pass.

Our test in ireland is different to the UK MOT, but i think they only allow driving lights to be white or yellow.

Re: Front Bumper side lights
Was thinking that. The fella who had the car before me had a Veilside front bumper that i replaced with a standard one. Not sure how he tested the car before, but there is only one bulb holder there now. I can only assume he got it rewired to suit the bumper and i have no idea what i'm going to do n...

Front Bumper side lights
Quick questions, is there separate bulbs for indicator and parking lights on a standard MR2?

On mine there is one bulb, dual filament, that does indicators and parking lights, my problem is the parking lights are amber and so failed our local car test.

Re: Found some cheap raybrigs for someone :D
I bought a new set of Raybrigs on ebay about 5 years ago, i didn't pay more than
£100 but cant remember exactly how much.
They were perfect and looked excellent, maybe they were fake, but for the money i would buy them again.

Re: My REV5 Beams
good work gettin rid of the front bumper. look forward to seeing it progress. how do you find the power curve of the beams? have you driven turbo or NA mr's before? Had a NA 3 years ago and drove a couple of turbo's. Power is completely different to a turbo, no similarity. The beams drive is very s...

LSD from beams to NA gearbox?
I have a rev5 beams fitted with a standard LSD, the gearbox has a slight crunch on down change into 3rd gear.
I've been offered a standard rev3 gearbox that has just been reconditioned for very cheap.

Will i lose the LSD with fitting the new gearbox?
