.if you can find one? or would it be a real ballache?
also what do the 2 positions do on the foglight?is one rear?

It ain't complicated- it just keeps the engine running for a while to give the oil a chance to cool down, and avoid cocking up the bearings in your turbo

Not difficult to fit, but remember:
1) it is illegal to leave a car with the enine running, so you might as well wait in the car a minute after a hard run.
2) the advance in technology of synthetic oils over mineral oils means turbo timers are unecessary.![]()
Much better to drive the car lightly for a few milles after a hard run
- allows the cooling system to do its job better.
Go to any track day- and everyone does a
"cool down" lap before coming into the paddock.

You won't find them racing into the paddock, engage turbo timer, walk away from car and crack open the thermos flask.

Yep exactly
I'm not going to use the timer, I just like rare parts

Also it leaves the engine running so that after you have locked up the car and walked 10 yards down the road you stand there like a right knob waiting for it to stop as you get worried it might keep on going.
