You are right, sadly they are dropping, but my cars have always been a cut above the rest, as older members on here know.
I sold my car today for pretty much the asking price
3k  insane! £3K?????????   I said I was open to offers but that is insane chap! No offence intended mate, My very low offer was just meant to possibly make people start bidding as nothing was happening :? . It was meant as statement that even though I already own severa...
Suprised there is not a little more interest in my car. As I said I am willing to listen to offers. The car has covered less than 4k miles since the engine conversion, which is like new! The conversion alone cost me £3.5k. I need to sell as because of my condition I can bearly get in & out of he...
Sadly due to continuing problems with my health I have to sell my much loved '2. Although I have not been on IMOC much recently I am well known to the older members, they will vouch for the quality of the cars I have owned & respected over the years. So, she is a 1995 rev 3 Tintop Turbo. I bough...

No problem at all Matt, Harry told me about your plans. If you have insurance you can take it for a drive, if not you will just have to settle for being scared to death by me!!

I think it depends on your car. I had a rev2 with a CT20b that ran very safely at 1.15 bar, but I also had a ST185 charge cooler. I guess if you can keep then temps down & the fueling right then as previously said a rev3 should be able to run 1.2 or 1.3 bar, set up correctly.
Brook.
Ok mate. That one is cranking amp of 450.
Should still be plenty good enough, I have a few gadgets too!!
I do recall the next size up was over double the cost though.
Brook.
Why would you want a bigger one?
The part no. is specific to a MR2, I had no reason to ask for a different battery, & it is plenty big enough to whizz my V6 over.
Brook.
Yes, I agree, never been a fan of the rev3 & above back end, looks a bit too girlie for me.
I have retro fitted rev1/2 lights to my rev3 & couldn't be happeir.
Horses for courses as already said.
Brook.
Hi Harry, it was me!!!
I am having to use an internet cafe just now due to technical problems at home, so I can't give you the number off the top of my head.
However, I have your number, so when I get home I will dig the receipt out & give you a bell.
Brook.
I have owned both rev2 & rev3, in many ways I actually prefered the rev2. Fairly easy & cheap to get to 300bhp (flywheel), Brook. It's not that cheap to get a rev2 to 300hp. Rev3 yes but rev2 you will have to spend a few £££ to get to 300hp I didn't, de-cat, downpipe, ST185 chargecooler &am...
