Toyota part number is T28800-YZZAE

Spec is 65 amps/hr

Cost is £46 plus VAT, cheaper than your corner discount shop.

Why would you want a bigger one?

The part no. is specific to a MR2, I had no reason to ask for a different battery, & it is plenty big enough to whizz my V6 over.

Ok mate. That one is cranking amp of 450.
Should still be plenty good enough, I have a few gadgets too!!

I do recall the next size up was over double the cost though.

i agree with si2040, i'd like a heavier duty battery myself too if there was an option.

I had a modified XR2 with high compression which always killed the battery, luckily they had a Fiamm Heavy duty battery of the same type for a diesel fiesta :D Problem solved

Stick with the OE battery get a good battery charger leave it on and keep the battery tip top.Get extended leeds run out under near the bumper location to make easy plug It In every so often. The charger that cuts out when topped up and switches off to save the charger Itself too. Even If I had A fancy battery I would do this once a battery goes dead a few times they tend to die so keep them tip top to start with. :D

I live in on the 4th floor of a tenament. Due to the parking restrictions round here the car is parked minimum two blocks away and round a corner. Having a trickle charger is so not an option :clown: .

turns out the car has a Halfords battery in it at present which is 65quid or 79 for the heavy duty. I'll price up toyota tomorrow

ggrrrrr there are two types of battery showing and they can't tell the specs from the PC! Can someone confirm what battery they have sitting in their turbo please?
