Re: Wandering MR2...
As above..and also, if you have aftermarket alloys / low-profile tyres, you can get that effect from tramlining, due to the tyre stagger front /rear.... Check tyre pressures, too.... The UJ in the frunk is open to the elements, especially if you have removed the plastic undertrays. They can get real...

Re: Massive electrical issue!
So...Engine start / runs fine? Lights work fine? Have you checked to see if your battery is charging? Its frustrating I don't have diagrams anymore, but I'm thinking that based on the above, the main fuses are ok....? So...I'd be looking at an earth somewhere...or possibly your dashboard fuse...? (I...

Re: Massive electrical issue!
If engine didn't start (relay click or less), then disconnect you battery and check voltage across terminals: should be 12.x volts. If correct, reconnect car to battery and check again: if voltage drops right down, then you have a short somewhere....? Could be your starter motor solenoid has jammed....

Re: Strange problem...
Only just read this...... :) But fob battery is the issue, pretty certain. Similar happened to me. And for what it's worth I also used to have an issue with my Mk3's alarm going off "randomly"... it used to do it at roughly the same time every other evening. I even ran out on the 5th or 6t...

Re: Lean out on a supercharger with Fensport pulley?
That's the one I had in my Mk1 "NightHawk" , Paul...looks the nuts, doesn't it..? :-) To O/P, As for lean-ness, shouldn't be an issue with the sizes of pulley being talked about here... The problem, assuming decent intercooling, is more likely to be the actual metering of the fuel, as, iir...

Re: 'The last incarnation of our beloved Mr2'....but really!?!
Hmm...that concept looks rubbish, really.....! Way things are going, we'll have to wait until about 2020 until we get a "proper" Mr2 Mk4....and I reckon it'll be totally electric...? :? 8) All the stuff Toyota seem to be working on is based on collabs with other mfrs: basically fol...

Used a dremel on mine, with the flexible extension... :D If you use the tube-type sanding attachments, its quite easy to hold it horizontally and skim over the surface. Of course, doing the insides of the wheel nut wells is rather easy, too.... :thumleft: I spent about a weekend doing mine. I went d...

YES...YES...YES..! :D Best handling MR2, easily (but you would expect that with 15 years R+D?) Nice that Toyota got back on track with the MR2 after losing the plot a little with the Mk2...? ...but, having siad that, you would have thought they'd learn a little and have offered the Mk3 wit...

Re: thinking of buying a mk3 any pointers always been a mk2 owner
yeh, the rear subframe under the engine is only coated in some really crappy thin paint, so it is prone to rusting.....the "achilles heel" of the mk3 chassis, I reckon..? Shouldn't have any other rusty bits (yet! ). Check the soft top: especially where the roof vinyl folds underneat...
