[Mk2] [Turbo] Picture request - ST205 with ATS turbo kit

I'm trying to help a customer in Austria with a ST205. I have been told that the one piece CNC turbo adapter we use on the MR2 will fit and clear the hood on a ST205. But I have never seen a photo to prove it. Can anyone help me out?

Thanks in advance.

Re: [Mk2] [Turbo] Fan aluminium cowl issue on uprated IC

I don't want to turn this into an argument :) I'm just not sure what your mk1 tests have to do with the airflow into the side vents of a mk2? Nothing at all, someone asked me if I have done any testing on a MKI. What are your thoughts on mk2 Turbos and the fact that Toyota's intention is for the fa...

Re: [Mk2] [Turbo] Fan aluminium cowl issue on uprated IC

Toyota also intended for a 11 psi fuel cut and only 200hp, so I would throw any thoughts about the OEM setup being ideal out the window.

Re: [Mk2] [Turbo] Fan aluminium cowl issue on uprated IC

We tested on a MK1 Supercharged. That was a controversy too because there was some disagreement about which way the fan should pull. Our tests showed that the 9" fan worked best when pull air downward. The natural flow is in the opposite direction, but that pushed engine heat through the interc...

Re: [Mk2] [Turbo] Fan aluminium cowl issue on uprated IC

Sorry to bring back an old thread, but a guy on the US boards mentioned this topic. 10 years ago ATS_Todd and I did some temperature testing using a thermocouple mounted inside the pipe after the intercooler. Even at 90 mph the fan helped keep intake air temps lower. The stock side vent provides alm...

Re: Anybody tried the Mk2 Turbo Intercooler upgrade from....

I'd almost be willing to bet money those are Greddy pipes/hoses. The IC core is not Greddy, but the hoses/pipes look IDENTICAL. Too identical to be a copy. See the shiny wrapping on some of the couplers? Just like my Greddy stuff came. SS Autochrome and a few other places in the US have advertised a...

Re: ATS TD05 or 06

It will work with the AVC-R. And it clears the ST205 CC easily. Scott McClendon (he works here at ATS) recently installed a ST205CC on his MR2 with a TD06 kit.

Re: Power gains through doing the following?Wanting 300 bhp.

CT27:

T04E 46 trim compressor wheel
ATS cnc machine ported exhaust housing

Typical dyno tests show 300hp at 15 psi My 93T makes 265 wheel hp at 17 psi. With a CT27+ rom kit. With a 50/50 mix of race gas and 20 psi I made 291whp. More info and dynos here: http://atsracing.net/ct27.htm

Re: ATS TD05 or 06

How much NOS are you running, and at what psi? What was the hp on the dyno? (flywheel, or wheel hp?)

Re: ATS TD05 or 06

Were there any snags you encountered doing it, did the car start up fine and drive fine with nothing else modified. Does it run fine on the standard Toyota VSV wastegate controller and ECU ? Cheers, Rikki Hey Rikki I promise to get you an e-mail later today. But the answer to your first question ab...
