Its not a leather dash, it was removed and pinted. It looks excellent. I would think its very expensive to have it covered in leather.

The time has come to sell my MR2. It only gets driven once a week, if that, and i've now got a company car. It's kept in a underground car park. Its the best looking MR2 around and it's in excellent condition. I'm from a family of MR2 lovers and this car has been well maintained, regardless of cost....

All, I had to jump start my car the other day and now my dash board is not working (Rev counter, Speedo etc), neither is my heater and my fan is on all the time. I thought it was a fuse but i have checked them all and they are ok. Do you think it could be a relay?? Any help would be apprciated. Than...

ok so really the only way to do it properly is is to get a uk speedo, off a Celica GT4 maybe?? all uk mr2's are na so only 160mph right?

I have 110mph at the moment but have a chip to install behind the speedo to get rid of the limiter and change from KPH to MPH.

Does anyone know if the speedo will change to 160MPH or 180MPH??

I want to have my rev1 ECU upgraded to a rev3 + chip of some sort. Does anyone know of a good person to go to who could do this?? Im in Herts but would travel a bit if i knew they were going to do a good job.

My battery is sending 16.8v around my car!! my machanic has said my alternater is on its way out, something about the bushes? anyway the cheapest one he can find is £175

Does anyone know where i can get a new or re con one for less??

He said the tensioner is ok, so i only had the belt done. Spoke to him again today and he still claims its fine. I've made such a fuss about it to him but he's sure its not that.

I might just let him do this dinostic test, if he finds the problem then great if not i think i might take it off him

theres a bit of play in the belt between the top 2 pullies, my machanic clames it fine and tightens up when the engine is turning over and wouldn't be the cause of my problem.
