Re: MR2 Mk 1 for sale on Gumtree looks good
Hi oukie had a word with the guy it has been in storage for a couple of years that probably why you haven't seen it. I am really interested in this but I'm based in the north I would be grateful if you could have a look at it for me if its not too much trouble and give an unbiased opinion on it chee...

Re: false advertisement
Wow. I've always said you can't beat MR2 owners especially MK1 owners. Well I suppose there is always an exception to the rule this guy must be it. Anyone know of him as an owner previously. I was going to go see it maybe but I won't bother now. To top it of I cant believe he has actually dealt with...

Re: false advertisement
This is a good one. I can see both sides here. To be fair to the seller he has told you it is 110,000 when quizzed on it so by that you can deduce the clock has been changed to match the mileage of the engine and not the rest of the car. Having said that the fact he is quite unclear about certain as...

Re: [All] [Generic] What should've the Mk2 designers included?
I was gonna refrain from it but seen as someone else has already mentioned it I would love to drive a 4wd version turbo obviously. I know it kinda takes away half the reason MR2's are known for but just having that bit more confidence (for amateur drivers like me lol)in the car and that traction of ...

Re: [Mk2] [Turbo] Tow'ing an MR2 advice???
I'll apologise in advance but this is whats wrong with these threads sometimes. The guy wants to know whats the cheapest possible way of getting the car to him. All he gets back is people giving him advice on how to get round the law in case he gets caught without mot or tax. Oh yeah and how to flee...

Re: [Mk2] [NA] EXtreme Murcielago
As seems to happen with most discussions on replicas people get caught/hung up on the fake posers etc etc. I originally posted to see what real Mr2 enthusiasts think of an MR2 clothed up as something else. I was trying to get an idea would it be worth for that kind of money. If you look at some of m...

Re: [Mk2] [NA] EXtreme Murcielago
Thank you nick200 it is actually a replica but the best on I have ever.
The kit is by a company called air dynamics in america.
The pics were sent to me by someone on another forum who has keen interest in kit cars.

Re: [Mk2] [NA] EXtreme Murcielago
Well it must be a good one if you think it's tral.
It actually is an american kit based on a non stretched fiero.
So is actually shorter than the real thing.
But you can get a strteched version aswell.

Re: [Mk2] [NA] EXtreme Murcielago
Hi guys I know most you pick out things on the extreme 355 replica based on the mr2 but what dou you think of this must be as clost to the real thing as possible or can 355 replica builder do better. http://i124.photobucket.com/albums/p21/Ducati749s/qasw.jpg http://i124.photobucket.com/albums/p21/Du...

Re: [Mk2] [NA] EXtreme Murcielago
I personally hate kits trying to make cars into something they're not and never will be. £30K to fit a V8 to an MR2 and a lambo kit? What a waste of money.[/quote] Yeah but some cars are so rare and expensive that a kit is the only option. Besides a some of the modifications done to these mr2's they...

Re: [Mk2] [NA] EXtreme Murcielago
Yeah I guess you guys are right it's a ridiculous amount really. I never truley enjoyed owning that Covin replica with a beetle engine. However that only cost about £4000 manged to recoup £2500 of it when I sold it. For £30,000 I think I would prefer a cobra replica with a Chevy 5.7 V8 in and it wou...

Re: [Mk2] [NA] Revisions
Thank you 3sgte you got my point across better than I could.
It doesn't really matter but it's something that has always bugged and talking to other MR2 owners near me they could never get what I meant.

Re: [Mk2] [NA] Revisions
Yeah thats my point if the mk2 was introduced in 89/90 then that wasn't technically a revision it was a complete overhaul of the mk1. Therefore the 92 model was the first revision of the mk2. Effectively making the round rear light model L/M reg (which they also made less tail happy :( ) the second ...

Re: Very nice Mk1 on Ebay
A similar one in white with exact same bodykit and wheels with no mot and tax sold for £500 about 18 months ago it was in leicester. If I'm not wrong I think its the same car they only difference is the paint job, interior and he has added the rear spoiler. I almost bought it back then but because I...

[Mk2] [NA] Revisions
Hi guys just wondering what year/reg do the revisions change. Mine is an M Reg which is considered to be a revision 3 but i can only find one other revision to the mk2 before this one in that was the 1992, therefore technically making my 94 model a rev 2 not 3 :? . Sorry to be pedantic and I maybe w...

[Mk2] [NA] EXtreme Murcielago
Hi guys now I know how some of you feel about the Ferrari replica based on the MR2 but what is your opinion of the Murcielago replica based on the MR2. Its by a company called Extreme. I had a chat with them seemed very helpful and they said I could even put in a V8 and the car unlike the 355 replic...

[Mk2] [NA] MR2 Virgin Help
Hi guys have always loved the mr2 from the original mk1. However due to prctical needs, family etc etc never owned one. That is until November 22nd this year when I said sod it and bought a 94 T-Bar in Goodwood Green (will add profile and details once I add my personal touch to the car e.g. cobra si...
