I will be using ecp's triple qx 75w-90 fully sythetic oil. Made by big brand and repackaged I think.

Some people rate valvoline but at that price point its semi synthetic.

Last change had redline and no issues with that either.

No not yet will be when I fire up the engine following a rebuild, but looking at the specs it seems fine. Sorry I meant comma not valvoline earlier.

I believe so if you have a turbo box with lsd. But it'll probably take less to fill due to not getting all of the old oil out.

just use the best oil you can afford, it'll be years before it needs changing again and really, four quarts of MT90 isn't that expensive.

fwiw I stuck this in my box when I changed the oil

I know i'm going to be opening a can of worms here but when I was looking into which oil to get the only oil I could find was rated GL5 which is apparently bad for synchro's...

Paper on it here
http://www.widman.biz/uploads/Transaxle_oil.pdf

or just google gl4 vs gl5 synchro and see for yourself.

IIRC the shearing strength of the GL5 oil is too great and actually peels the brass off, something like that was a while ago I read it all
