
"Colour renovator" is not going to fix it! That crap is full of fillers and at very best will mask the damage for a few washes.

You're far better to have the damage polished out if possible or at worst, re-spray.

If you were nearer to me, I would happily come round and assess the damage.

Find a local Car Detailer or pop into a good paintshop and ask them, they'll be able to tell you in seconds what the problem is.
