I have an intermttent prob with starting.

.

.well it's happened twice.

Turn the key and the engine just turns over without firing.

.

.there is a great spark and the car stinks of fuel.

.lol.

.the only way that I have been able to cure it is to undo the banjo bolt connecting fuel supply to the rail, crank it over.

.

.then it will fire.

.lol.

.rush back and tighten up the bajo bolt fkn sharpish before too much fuel is lost.

.

.obv this was just an emergency method of starting it up as I was miles away from home both times I had to do it.

When the fuel pipe is disconnected there is stil a constant dribble coming out of the it.

.

.even when I disconnected the battery earth cable.

.

.no where near as much as when it's pumping fuel in from turning the key though.

.

.any and all ideas are welcome guys.

.

.I thought it may have something to do with the turbo timer not turning the fuel pump off but now I'm just baffled.

.

.the car maybe feels slighly less banzai mental on acceleration and doesn't seem to pop as it used to all the time.

I was just about to stick a bottle of injector cleaner in it.

.

.but though I'd post this first.

mines ecu, arc ic, avcr set to 1bar, hks plugs, apexi safc set to neutral, fet turbo timer.

.good rotor arm and dizzy cap.
