Be prepared to wait a couple of months and bombard them with letters until you get near to what you want.You are not under any obligation to accept their
'offer'.
When I wrote mine off I got an extra£500 on top of what they originally offered me, it took two months but it just takes a little perseverence.
Remember that insurance companies are there to make a profit, and most of the time at your expense.Its just a shame they'll base the offer on the present market which, lets face it, pretty much sucks

Saying that, you'll be able to get a decent deal on another because the prices are so low so I guess it'll even out at the end.
