Come on! Some of you guys are competent enough to give a pretty spoton guess I think!

I'd say somewhere around 600bhp :-k

Wow. Thats a massive number.. I think your a bit high. But IF you are the closest. I´ll put you in the passangerseat and do a few timeattacklaps around one of the swedish tracks. ;)

I´ve had a lot of guesses on the Swedish board around 600bhp.
Think that could be pretty close.
Does any know the actual drivetrainloss on a MR2?
Im counting 11%, High or low?

Whats the difference betveen BHP, and WHP?

I googled it. ;)
So BHP is more or less the engine hp. Not what it puts to the wheels?

I´m gonna give you the wheel hp, And if you want to calculate to engine hp. I´m gonna use 11% drivetrain loss

When I first mapped my car a few years ago I was told generally to assume ~15% transmission losses in a two, never prooven it to be accurate though :eye:

I´d say thats a bit high. Maybe correct with a standard MR2.
But when you raise the power, the loss isent the same in %.

Back and with a big F*ucking smile ;)

StevieL was by far the closest guesser.. And I would never have thought it myself.. Was it just a guess, or did you actually count backwards or something.

We made 669whp. calculated at 11% drivetrainloss to 761bhp

The poor thing pulls HARD on the road now. But still not that hard to handle after all.

I have both video and papper on the results.
I had a little issue with the boostcontroll tho..

The boost didnt stay stabile. It went up and down betveen 2,0 and 1,8bar all the way to revlimit. It shows on the curve also. Goes up and down alot..
Maybe something I did wrong with the duty.. Dont know. If I could staight that out. We would touch 800bhp I think. Awesome machine!

Time for a whiskey and hit the coutch!

Result dude!! I had a rough guess, that if you're maxing out those injectors it's got to be something pretty high!

Look forward to the videos! :D

The video was made on my friends Iphone. And shot from the front of the car. So its not that exciting unfortunatly.

But Im impressed with your guess! I would never have thought that myself.
We made 574whp and 643bhp at 1,5bar.
Im impressed with what this turbo can do!

Hopefully. I´ll try to sort the problem out. And see if we can push it abit more. 800bhp sounds like a good round number ;)

Has anyone been messing with the duty adjustment on the Apexi PFC´s boostcontroll?

How do you set the correct boost? As a standard setting is says about 44 on all the settings.

I never used the PFC for boost control, I used an AVCR with the PFC

yeah, That would be a solution.. ;)
I´m thinkin of changin the EMS alltogether actually.

My thought with this car is to enter the newstarted Time Attack series here in Sweden next year. So there is alot of features I miss in the Apexi PFC

Love that graph. The 8350rpm peak power!! Bet that sounds amazing.. U goin take it up any higher? Downside to big turbo's u need to get it revving.

Syvecs seems popular for the big powered cars

Ryan at 2BarTuning does them
