shame you didn't stay a bit closer to me, i have everything you need to repair her, the only issue would be that its in super red 2 :-k

maybe someone a bit closer to you might come to the rescue, thats unless you have already made the claim :-k

Sorry to hear that. :(

I guess given the age of the car it's likely to be written off. Obviously you could buy it back. If you repair it it's worth thinking about how much it would cost and then the perceived value of it given it will be a Cat D.

Best option may be to accept that it's written off then you could buy it back and sell parts, if you are up for the hassle of that.

That's a shame, but I guess at least it gives you a better idea of where you are at with it. I'm thinking your focus now will be on procuring a fair deal from teh insurance company and then you can move on and buy another car which i'm guessing might just be an MR2?

An agreed value of £1500 less £ 250 excess , so £1250 , and i may have a little more too lol , for the right car .

I'm not surprised it was a write-off. I had a bump in a previous MR2 and the only damage was dented front wings, broken front bumper and smashed radiator. That was a Cat C I believe. Yours seems to have a fair bit more damage and it's 17 odd years old.
