very snotty reply james oh affiliate of the year but with such a catty wit. Had JJ read the post properly he may have seen that the car has had a full service so the old/loose plugs are out of the question, and the fact my old leads dont do that either that end, and he may have seen thats its not that end I had the proper trouble with.
What happened to the ' Only OP/trader/Mods/Admin are allowed to post on the thread- all others will be removed without question
' rule? One rule for some it seems.

Im glad they seem to be working fine on matts rev 3, and hope they work on his mates rev 2 also. I may get a set of leads back that work.

Gents - can we keep this thread to just Nails, James and the Moderators now, no matter how well-meaning your post may be.

There's not really much more to say until Matt reports back. Once an acceptable resolution has been reached, I'll lock the thread.

As far as I am aware PMs are pemanently deleted if the user decides to do so. They seem to automatically disappear if the sender deletes them from their sent box as well, unless they are saved by the recipient. :-k

What do I want from you?
Let me think, global domination? A lottery win? Better weather? :-k
What I wanted in the first place when I ordered the leads, I wanted some that work, which you werent prepared to do, didnt send me them back, then called me basically a lieing incapable c**t.
Who knows how the leads seem to fit matts car are they still mine or do I have 2 different make dizzys caps at fault?

This says it all about your customer service. You may be good when your good. But when something goes wrong. Well, I've seen that first hand.

When something goes wrong be prepared to consider that its not what you first thought.
If there is still a problem approach me personally and in polite manner and I will bend over backwards to help you.

Ive aksed you what I can do for you and the answer is still unclear.

Hi guys, well my mates rev 2 is still in the workshop having work done on it. Nails i have the leads working on my car, are u happy for me to post u the leads back with that dizzy cap as we know they fit and work with it? If ur still having problems when u install at least you can rule out leads and cap. I don't have a spare but if you haven't already, a fresh dizzy cap seal is usually good too.

Ok guys just to sum up.
The leads have been on my car for a number of weeks now, and seem to be working ok.

One or two points to note:

The leads are a pain *edit* (they are a seriously tight fit!) 2edit* to fit onto the dizzy cap, the connectors are straight unlike the stock ones (90 deg bends) which makes it a bit more difficult to press em down, but once on they don't seem to come off easy, and I didn't experience any popping off during use.

They don't work with the stock lead casing, they come up a smidgen too short to the reach the dizzy cap.

I found them much easier to fit to a Denso cap than the blueprint item I have fitted to the car now.

I have been running stock level of boost with my mods to the car and it runs fine with these leads (0.9 bar roughly).

I got some hesitation on full boost high in the rev range when turning the boost up to 1.2 bar yesterday and today, looking at my sparkplugs they look pretty worn + need to be changed in the near future so I suspect these are the culprits. I will get my leads back on the car and confirm it's not the leads doing this.

I should point out that any testing done by Matt for 3S has NOTHING to do with Matt's role as a Moderator on IMOC-UK and is entirely a personal favour to James.

Officers of the club cannot and will not act as third party arbitrators in situations such as this. Whatever the outcome of the test, it does not carry the backing of IMOC-UK. Matt's role as a Moderator is entirely incidental.

James - if Rich is no longer acting for 3S in a professional capacity, please contact me about altering his status.

I have split this thread to remove all the posts that are not from:

3S service center
Nails
Moderators

Please do not post on this thread, if you are not one of the 3 mentioned above.

Thanks,

Craig

thats my point there, I think they may well have worked had I been able to click onto the dizzy cap, Im quite sure I'm strong enough.... as goes for the several people that poked their hands in there whilst I was fracking about with them.
My car runs around 11.5psi if that has any thing to do with things....

I guess I must of missed something if the thread has been cleaned up(again)?

Lets me know how it goes Matt.

Well to conclude this post, I finally recieved the leads back today, more than 3 months later. They're still a peice of crap though, and some how matt has managed to wedge them onto a dizzy cap(I never tried with the cap off the car which looks to be the only way to fit them).

I was about to throw them in the bin but I've stuck them in the boot of the car so I can show any one thats wants to see them at any meets etc in the future.

So to sum up the post, poor service, poor parts and very poor customer service and aftercare, I hope I never have to cross your path in life again.

Thanks for the pm's of support and various info and the most recent ones especially.

Dude I haven't wedged anything, I'm not exactly He-Man :) you should find that the leads fit much better to the stock cap I sent you, just need moderate pressure to do it.

I think we've taken this thread about as far as it can go, I don't see how it staying open will benefit either party. If neither of you have any objections, then the thread will be locked later on today.

Both of you, please feel free to PM me if you object, or have anything more you wish to add before the thread is locked.

Regards

Matt
