To slap someone, stand next to them and hold one of your arms fully in one direction, then flick it to the other side as quickly as you can, he then gives the other player a wallop and sends them flying

MMC.I might give that a go if I meet another player who keeps messing it up.
any ideas on the whole'heart' thing? Was standing in a pod waiting to arrive somewhere and this other player kept having a heart appear above their head.
Also where does text speak pop up, have seen speech bubbles appear but am not able to read them.

It's quite satisfying giving someone a slap when they mess up the same part again and again

No idea about the heart thing, but there again I rarely endear myself to others, they probab ly just like you.

I've been killed a few times online now by being knocked off ledges from a slap waiting for lifts etc

I wanted to know mainly for the people who insist on vandalizing my pod

Seen the adverts on TV for this and now I'm convinced it's for children!

You might as well take up watching Teletubies and Barney if you think this is anything other than infantile.

I'll confess the graphics doo look superb though.

This is for babies. You might as well get a Wii and sell the Ps3

I wouldn't be so sure.

I spent hours last night playing with a few good friends of mine

I really doubt a baby could cope with it tbh.

You couldn't be more wrong

If you can't see past FPS games then you'll hate it.

It's a bit like a modern twist on The Lost Vikings if you ask me.

And yes it does look bloody good and the music in it is brilliant.

Re: Little Big Planet, £19.55 & littlewoods direct.
Why does it look like a fisher price my first game then?

I understand that you're saying it may be mentally challenging, but seriously, look at it?

It's nothing to do with FPS, I like other games.
But being toys just doesnt interest me.

Much like Lego Star Wars, Batman
& Indiana Jones.

Really liked world of colour.

Because they tried to make it look original and like nothing you've seen before?

It's partly because of the way you interact with everything and design your own levels.

Re: Little Big Planet, £19.55 & littlewoods direct.
I appreciate the concept but just dont understand why it's been packaged up as something that looks SO childish.

Perhaps it'll pave the way for more adult fun with a simular idea?

It really is a brilliant concept.

WOC is brilliant, That must have took ages to put together

& Mirrors Edge are cool.
TBH i haven't played that many user created levels yet but i will be having a peep at which ones you've been playing via my pod and do some catching up.
I've managed to get 100% on everything up to metropolis so far but it's getting rather difficult now.

I've hardly done the story levels.

I've played some of the jail break ones, love the cryptic ones where you have to work it out.

Just buy it off Littlewoods with the voucher and make up your own mind(once you've actually PLAYED it) If you hate it you'll make a profit selling it on ebay.

Matt has severe difficulty when it comes to changing his opinion
.
Or maybe he's a bit worried what others might think if they catch him playing LBP
(some people really do still worry about such things)? Like Andy says just buy it, play it and then see what you think.
I must admit though I really think the cute aspect to some of the levels is very endearing and see this as a positive point.

Funniest thing you've ever said.
