It was left out all day in extreme cold and by the time I came to drive home it'd turn over but wouldn't catch. AA came out and said there's no fuel getting through so he thinks the fuel pump has gone. Would that be caused by extreme cold or can they temporarily pack in? How much will a garage charge me to replace it?'ez-start' sprayed into the inlet manifold it would continue to idle, lumpily. This was eventually tracked down to injector wiring so it's worth checking that the injectors are getting a decent 12v supply among several other things before commiting to changing the fuel pump... Use a short bit of wire to connect the two, and you should hear the fuel pump run. The garage took it apart, as I understand through the interior, and gained access to the pump. He checked the feed and plugged in his own feed and when it was put back together it worked. He phoned me saying he'd fixed it but didn't know how! Someone on here said something about the pump interfering with the radio?! Can this be true coz I was getting some interferance just before hand like a mobile was about to go off?!- you can't get to the pump through the interior without an angle grinder being involved
