a different engine all together in the rev 3's onwards and the red top beams engine

around 1996 the N/A engine was changed to a high compression engine making 176bhp this was short lived as in 97 the engine was detuned to 168bhp to keep inline with emmission laws.
After this came the legendary BEAMS vvti engine, this is rarer than rocking horse s**t.

Major changes to the head design at revision 3 were the primary factor.

is removing the egr easily done
